Make your opinions known! to the U.S. Congress, Senate and State Officials

sTOCK mARKET cRASH 2008
The House of Cards comes Tumbling Down . . .
and all those "NUTS" on the outer fringes of society that sounded the alarm years ago and put their holdings in REAL, not paper, precious metals are laughing their posteriors off as their holdings only become more valuable!
So, all you completly stupid individuals who, with child like innocence, are falling for the ads on TV to send in your precious metal (jewelry, coins etc.) for melt down and a LITTLE quick cash are probably never even going to realize the insanity of your folly!
Oh well, some of us will eat well!
I am just all teared up about the greedy institutions getting their comeuppance after their big land grabs.
How many of you lost your homes, farms, businesses to these grand institutions, either directly or indirectly?
REMEMBER THE ALAMO or should it be more like REMEMBER THE HEARTLESS EVICTIONS!
Now it's YOUR turn, so don't turn your teary eyed faces towards me I remember the families and the children you put out on the streets with your callous indignant attitudes and evictions.
It's ALL BUSINESS you chanted but there were no banks willing to help the little guy, just take his family holdings for what you thought would be a quick profit on pain, so now all that can be said is "It's ALL BUSINESS" and I guess that's how it works!
Boo Rody
And now the other side of the story ... Oh WAH!
The Candidates, 2 Approaches to Wall Street
Barack Obama linked problems to lax regulation in Washington
The nation needs to look beyond the current financial crisis to the flaws of the anti-regulatory ideology.

Sarah Palin's First VP Interview
Palin's Answers Very Troubling
Alaska Governor Sarah Palin gave her first exclusive interview as John McCain's Vice Presidential running mate to ABC's Charles Gibson last week.
Her answers were very troubling, especially to those of us who believe in constitutional government.
On foreign policy, especially, Palin reveals herself to be just another neocon; one who would enthusiastically promote Bush's preemptive war doctrine........
It was extremely enlightening that Sarah Palin demonstrated surprising ignorance as to what the Bush Doctrine is.
When Gibson properly defined the Bush doctrine as being the determination of President Bush to unilaterally, preemptively launch anticipatory military attacks and invasions against foreign countries.
(without a Declaration of War from Congress, I might add)
Palin said the President "has the obligation, the duty" to launch such attacks.
No wonder John McCain likes her so much!
Instead of promoting European states such as Georgia joining NATO, America should promote dismantling NATO. The reason for NATO's existence ended when the cold war with the former Soviet Union ended.
It is past time for European states to take responsibility for their own defense.
To promote American hegemony in Russia's backyard (which is exactly what we are doing by promoting the expansion of NATO) not only serves to reignite the cold war, it could inflame an all-out, very hot war, is this what McCain and Palin want?
And, John McCain’s health plan is wrong, it is a monumental change in the way coverage would be provided to millions of people.
Why aren’t we paying more attention?

A Green Party leader who ran three times for governor of California and was Ralph Nader’s running mate in the 2004 presidential race, died Saturday.
Before joining the Green Party, he was the Socialist Workers Party nominee for president in 1976.
A first-generation Venezuelan-American born in New York City, Mr. Camejo became an activist at an early age, speaking out against the Vietnam War and for the rights of migrant workers. He marched in Selma, Ala., with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Tomas Jefferson's View on Corporations
Jefferson’s quote:
"I hope we shall crush ... in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country"
this is often attributed to being a strong warning against corporations and their function in American government and society.
Jeffersonian Democracy
Tomas Jefferson was the co-founder and leader of the Democratic-Republican Party, which dominated American politics for a quarter-century.
1798 States' Rights
Matthew Lyon, congressman of Vermont, and Tomas Jefferson rallied support by anonymously writing the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions, which declared that the federal government had no right to exercise powers not specifically delegated to it by the states.
The Resolutions meant that, should the federal government assume such powers, its acts under them could be voided by a state.
The Resolutions presented the first statements of the states' rights theory, that later led to the concepts of nullification and interposition.
Central Banking
Tomas Jefferson THE PRINCIPAL AUTHOR OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE said, "That if America allowed Central Banking, is would be the down fall of the Nation"!
And as we can see today, he was right!

Tomas Jefferson served as minister to France
From 1785 to 1789, so he was not able to attend the Philadelphia Convention.
He generally supported the New Constitution despite the lack of a Bill of Rights and was kept informed by his correspondence with James Madison.
The Election of 1800
Working closely with Aaron Burr of New York, Tomas Jefferson rallied his party, attacking "The New Taxes" especially, and ran for the Presidency in 1800.
Consistent with the traditions of the times, he did not formally campaign for the position.
Prior to the passage of the 12th Amendment, a problem with the new union's electoral system arose.
He tied with Burr for first place in the Electoral College, leaving the House of Representatives (where the Federalists still had some power) to decide the election.
After lengthy debate within the Federalist-controlled House, Hamilton convinced his party that Jefferson would be a lesser political evil than Burr and that such scandal within the electoral process would undermine the still-young regime.
The issue was resolved by the House, on February 17, 1801 after thirty-six ballots, when Jefferson was elected President and Burr Vice President.
Burr's refusal to remove himself from consideration created ill will with Jefferson, who dropped Burr from the ticket in 1804 after Burr killed Hamilton in a duel.
